About Us

RebelTown Rollers is the premier flat track roller derby league of Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Cypress, Downey, Lakewood, La Mirada, Long Beach, Lynwood, Norwalk, Paramount, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, South Gate, Whittier, and surrounding areas. RebelTown is committed to being a positive force in the communities in which we reside and skate. Apart from practice, RebelTown participates in community outreach, promotional events, fundraisers, and recruitment events.
We are a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2017 [TAX ID #82-3011796].
If you'd like to make a tax-deductible donation or sponsor us, send us an email. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Established in 2015, we started small, but have grown to 50+ members. We adhere to game rules provided by the WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) and we scrimmage neighboring leagues who also play by these rules. We play competitively as a C-Team and we're always happy to train new skaters, even if you have zero prior skating experience!
RebelTown is committed to inclusive practices in relation to all transgender, intersex, and gender expansive participants, and aim to ensure that all skaters' and volunteers' rights are respected and protected. If women's flat track roller derby is the form of roller derby with which you most closely identify, you may compete with us. All other participants may volunteer in a non-competitive capacity. We are committed to increasing our diversity as an organization and we work to ensure that diversity is a value that informs all of our daily operations. [See full Statements from the WFTDA.]
